Memphis city highlights include the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, built around the former Lorraine Motel and the site of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., the Beale Street Baptist Church, the Slave Haven Underground Railroad Museum and the Orpheum Theatre.
